Heathrow Reimagined: A Better Hub for Britain responds to Skytrax World Airport Ratings
A spokesperson for the Heathrow Reimagined campaign, said:
“Skytrax’s announcement that Heathrow has fallen down the rankings from 21st to 22nd place, and again outside of the top 20 of the world’s Top 100 Airports, conflicts with its position as the world’s most expensive airport. This is yet another example of how Heathrow, the UK’s only hub airport, offers a user experience that falls far short of the premium it charges users.
“The Heathrow Reimagined campaign was borne out of the spiralling costs at the airport, which are currently being shouldered by customers and airlines alike, as well as Heathrow’s declining passenger experience and ageing infrastructure. Heathrow could be a source of national pride and now is the time for a fundamental regulatory review by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).”
