Heathrow Reimagined: A Better Hub for Britain responds to Heathrow expansion announcement

 A spokesperson for the Heathrow Reimagined campaign, said:

“The Heathrow Reimagined campaign wants an improved experience for passengers at the UK's only hub airport, but not at any price. 

“The regulatory system at Heathrow has encouraged inefficient spending and has failed to provide value for money to passengers, who will ultimately foot the bill through higher passenger charges.

“Heathrow is already the world’s most expensive airport and today’s announcement does not demonstrate where passengers will see value for money. This is another clear sign of the need for urgent and fundamental reform of Heathrow’s regulatory model, to enable affordable spending for the benefit of passengers, businesses, and the UK economy.”
